Nothing is equal to Allah Ta'ala
Q: Can the concepts of length breadth height etc be applied to Allah?
Q: Can the concepts of length breadth height etc be applied to Allah?
Q: I want to know when thinking of Allah and imagining He is watching me what do I picture in my head. Sometime's I start imagining how Allah looks and quickly think of something else because I think it's from shaytaan. Also when Allah says in the Quraan majeed that He is near us does it mean Allah is literally right by us or is watching us from His arsh.
Q: I know that Allah is noor/made of noor but it is not like the ordinary light. So I used to imagine a bright light that maybe we will see Allah like this. It was a 'what if' question. But then I forgot about it. I neither accepted nor rejected, is that kufr?
Moreover we studied at school that everything is created from the noor of Allah. Is that kufr too? Do I need to restate my shahadat? Because I probably thought that there is a possibility that he looks like this. Now I know that whatever we imagine him to be like, he is not like that. If these are not kufr, please tell in what circumstances would these assumptions turn into kufr.
Q: What is the difference between God and Lord and which one should be believed in Islam? For example, there is no god but Allah. In the above case BUT is used not EXCEPT can you elaborate it please mufti Saab?
Q: Is it permissible to use the word khuda for Allah Ta'ala? Some people oppose it very forcefully.
Q: In the Ahaadith like the following:
ینزل ربنا عز و جل کل لیلة الی سماء الدنیا حین یبقی ثلث اللیل الاخر فیقول من یدعونی فاستجیب له من یسئلنی فاعطیه من یستغفرنی فاغفر له
How do we understand this? Is All Allah Ta'ala's speech qadeem?
Q: I want to ask if Allah Ta'ala thinks of a person that is thinking of Him aside from doing fards and sunnats? For example everytime I’m alone and I start to think/remember of Allah, His greatness, Sovereignty, Excellence etc. will He also think of/remember me the way I think of/remember Him?
Q: I have heard muftis saying that it is wrong to say that Allah Ta'ala has the Power to lie. Defects are not under His qudrat, since lying is a defect and Allah Ta'ala is free from all defects. Please clarify.
Q: Is Allah Ta'ala everywhere? Like Sufis says Allah can be in our heart.
