Telling a child that the new born child will bring stuff from jannah

Q: A long time ago, my parents told my young self that when my little brother comes into this world he will be able to bring stuff from Jannah that we want like a toy, and told us to make dua for it. We did eventually get it from our parents but I'm worried that my parents doing something like this is considered kufr and me and my parents joking about how I was really gullible about it is also kufr. I believe they were trying to make me have a closer connection with Allah.

Saying that someone is busy when answering a call

Q: I served in a Pvt Limited Company. Part of my job is to receive phone calls and to transfer it to my senior's and boss. Sometimes, I receive a phone call and when I transfer it to my boss, he tells me to tell the caller that he is busy in meeting or not available in the office whereas he is free and present. The issue is, it is a lie. Will I be sinning for speaking lies?

Free software for students

Q: One company gives software free for students. Those students who have university email addresses can apply for this free software. I am a student but my university doesn't provide us with an email address. If I download this software and crack it for my use as a student, then is it a sin? They provide free for all students, if I don't have a university email still I am a student.

Q: Is the following regarded as the person being dishonest?

Eg, person A asks person B about a certain event that had taken place during the weekend.. Now, person A knows that it had happened, and many other people know that that event took place and they also know that person B witnessed the event that took place, yet, when person B was asked if he was aware of knowing, his answer was ' I don't know, yes I was at that particular place at that time but I don't know if that event took place' ......the best part is that later on, person B admitted that he witnessed the event, yet, he argues that by him saying 'I don't know' doesn't mean that he was lying in the least bit... Mufti, was he lying when he was initially asked??

And also he comes up with a weird excuse that he knew person A was aware of the event etc, that's why he said he didn't know?? Yes, as childish as it seems, that's what he said.....
