Touching

Q: I was married for about a year I asked for a divorce because my husband used to hug his female cousins and cousins wives despite me telling him Islamically it is not right. He accepted it was not right but did not stop and his family defended it because they always did it so basically 'culture'. After the divorce I did my best to guide him but all doors felt close was Allah protecting me? Also will I get sin for asking for a divorce? I ask because his family did not feel its a big issue to get divorced over. 

Q: Is it permissible for a step father to hold and hug his step daughter?

Q: I am working as teacher in a Higher Secondary School, where students of age group 14-18 are enrolled. 

Is it permissible in Islam for a male teacher to place his hand on the head of a female student as a gesture of affection and encouragement.

Q: Is it appropriate for my husband's elder sister to do cupping for him on his body as she is holding and touching his bare body even though it is not his satr?

There are males who are more convenient to go to in the area we live in but now he is traveling 30 minutes out.

Q: Is it permissible for a male to shake hands with a non-mahram woman?

Q: Can an adult granddaughter (daughter of son), massage her grandfather to relieve the pain?

Q: Is shaking hands with a girl a major sin for a man?

Q: Unwilling Arousal - I have a few affectionate youngers at my hostel. I love them solely for the cause of deen. But, when I touch them, I feel sexually aroused! By Allah! I never even dreamt of getting aroused when I touch them. They are old enough with beards and don't have any female features which cause attraction. I feel guilty please tell me what to do.

Q: When I got married I was shocked to see my husband shaking hands with his cousins, mamo's wife and other females of the family. I told him that this is not right. Similarly putting hands on the heads of smaller than him but baligh girls. He says that he has no bad intention at all and it is a custom and matter of respect.

Q: We are living in Canada. Me and my son are worried about one situation. My son goes for job interviews and if there is a lady over there and she extends her hand, then my son has to shake her hand, otherwise my son feels ashamed to shake their hands. I ask you to please guide us to prevent handshaking with ladies.
