Black Magic (Jaadoo) and Jinn

Q: Is it permissible to contact an aamil to find out if someone has sihr or magic on them?

Q: What I can do with my baby who has been badly affected with jadoo. His under treatment but screams terribly at night for hours and hours... resulting in us as parents not getting any sleep. He points at things on the ceiling terrified.

Q: I want to know if I am affected by black magic or evil? Alot of signs are similar to black magic or evil eye.

Q: I run an anthracite coal business. I have heard that Jinn eat coal, and that I should cover the coal with something at night.

Is there any truth to this?

Q: A Maulana who is an Imaam of the Jaami Masjid of our town for more than 20 years said that it is permissible to go to a Hindu for jadoo treatment because it is the same as going to a Hindu cardiologist.

Please comment. Does it not bring a person close to kufr and shikr?

Q: I have a question about fairies... Should we have faith in them... What if they offer you some money and should we talk to them if they want to talk to us?

Q: My sister has come to know that black magic is being used to disturb and destroy her house. Her husband beats her everyday, threatens her that he’ll divorce her. He is also involved in extramarital affairs. This has been going on for the last 2 years. My sister reads Surah Baqara daily, offers 5 times prayers, and sincerely prays to Allah for relief but she has been in severe pain due to her husband’s attitude towards her. Recently she has come to know that somebody in her family is using black magic against her to destroy her relationship with her husband.

Somebody referred my sister to a guy who can destroy the black magic by using black magic. He claims that she’ll live a happy life with her husband once he is done with his magic. My sister has given him money to use black magic knowledge to destroy the black magic which is being done on her. Now my questions are:

1. What is the Shariah ruling on somebody using black magic to stop black magic?

2. Has my sister committed kufr?

3. Has my sister committed shirk?

4. If she has committed shirk by this way, is there anyway she could be forgiven by Allah?

5. Can she still go to heaven? She has been a pious woman all her life before this.

1. Does black magic cause cancer?

2. Can we know who did black magic on us? 

Q: Is it right to fear jinns because I always see people get very scared about them and wear 'taweez' (surahs written on folded paper), especially in the Indian subcontinent. But the jinns are not as supreme creatures as humans. Though I believe in them, I never fear them, actually I don't care about them. Am I doing right?
