Selling perfumes with synthetic oils

Q: I'm doing business of non alcoholic perfumes and Attars. The fragrances, which I sell come from a company in india (total hindus), keva fragrances. This company also uses synthetic animal derivatives such as civet oil, etc. in their perfume oils. They said, we can give halal declaration of any product, but did not show any halal certification.

Secondly, this company is partly owned by blackstone, a giant company of USA, which deals in real estate, credit, equity, etc. involving interest as well. My question is that whether it is preferable to sell their products to earn, as they are strict Hindus and might be involved directly or indirectly in interest also. Secondly, the use of synthetic animal derivatives in fragrances are halal to use and sell?

Applying itr and camphor to the deceased

Q:

1. After giving the mayyit ghusl, it is reported in the hadith that itr should be applied to the head and beard, and camphor should be applied to the places of sajdah. In place of camphor, is it permissible to apply itr as we see some people nowadays applying itr?

2. We notice some people when applying itr to the knees of the mayyit, expose his knees and some even touch the knees with bare hands, is this correct?

Burning oudh

Q: Is the following true?

The forgotten Sunnah

It is Sunnah for one to burn Lobaan, Incense sticks and other fragrances. There are many virtues of burning Bakhoor and other fragrances mentioned in the Hadeeth. Hadhrat Ibn Umar (r.a) used to burn pure Oudh and camphor mixed with Oudhas incense fragrance. He said “Likewise, Rasullullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) used to burn incense.” (Saheeh Muslim, Hadeeth #2254) Hadhrat Umm Qais Bint Mihsan(r.a) narrates that “I heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi waSallam) saying, "Treat with the Indian incense, for it has healing for seven diseases; it is to be sniffed by one having throat trouble, and to be put into one side of the mouth of one suffering from pleurisy.” (Saheeh al-Bukhari, Hadeeth # 5368, Kitab al-Tibb)

Men using perfumes which leaves a stain on the clothing

Q: Is it permissible to use perfumes which contains saffron, as in a hadith our beloved Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has prohibited it. Is this Hadith still applicable?
