Using deodorant and itr before ihraam

Q:

1) Is it permissible to use a roll-on deodorant before entering into ihraam? 

2) Before entering into ihraam, is it permissible to apply an itr which leaves a colour stain on one’s ihraam?

A:

1. Yes, it is permissible. 

2. Applying itr before ihraam is sunnah, even though one’s ihraam becomes stained with the itr. However, if the itr is such that its actual substance remains on the cloth (not just the colour stain), then it will be makrooh-e-tahreemi (impermissible). 

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
