Reading aloud when making qadha of Maghrib, Esha and Fajr Salaahs

Q: I have a bad habit of talking excessively. Alhumdulilah, after I began going to a girl's madressah and we did the ahaadith about talking excessively I began to talk less. But after I began doing this I began feeling depressed. Please advise me what to do.
