Gifting a property to one's only daughter during one's lifetime and distribution of inheritance

Q: I have only one daughter. I own a house and no bank balance.

1. Can I gift the house, my complete property to my daughter in my life and give full control over it to her? Can we stay with her in that house only after giving her the full control over it? I have heard that a gift can be given from 1/3rd of the property and a gift can be given to non heirs.

2. If I don't give the gift, what will be the shares of my only daughter and wife?

3. I had two brothers and two sisters out of which one brother has passed away. So what will be the share of my remaining brother and two sisters in my property?

4. Will my nephews and nieces inherit from my property as their father is no more?

NOTE: Please answer all these questions in the light of my case as I have only one daughter and no sons.

Woman following a tuhr cycle every month

Q:

1. Do women have to follow their tuhr cycle every month? I do not have a fixed tuhr period. Some months it is 20 days, 21 days, then another month 16 days. I may get a same tuhr period for two months sometimes. But most of the time it is unfixed. For years I am counting my periods like this - if I get a bleeding after 15 days from the last period, I treat it as period. Can you please tell if this is the correct way of calculating periods or do I have to follow my previous month’s tuhr period?

2. Almost a year ago. it happened that I forgot my habit of period. I forgot how many days it was. After much contemplation, I felt that my habit was 8 days. Since then, I have been practicing upon it. Is that correct?

Hadith regarding eating the food of a Muslim without asking if it is halaal

Q: I have came across the following narration

Is this a general ruling, that as long as one is a Muslim he would be required to eat his food on assumption that it is Halaal because he is a Muslim, regardless of whether it is actually Halaal or Haraam without questioning him?

Would this ruling differ from area to area, and from country to country. In a place such as South Africa, the Muslim community is more cautious regarding Halaal and Haraam and the abattoirs are generally running by a fair enough system in comparison to other countries.

Would the ruling in the above mentioned Hadeeth differ from person to person e.g. if he is a pious person, if he is an Aalim in comparison to him being a open sinner?

What will the ruling be if one is not aware of the condition of his hosts? Would this differ from being given an invitation to eat and voluntary choosing to eat at a restaurant owned by a Muslim?

Believing that the birth of someone is a cause of ill fortune

Q: I am 22 years old. From my childhood until this moment, my father could not get a house. My parents get up for tahajjud and make prayers etc. But we are not getting an answer for a house. What would be the reason?

My father had told me long before that it is because of my birth that they could not achieve anything. Could that be the reason?

I have often noticed that I am a person who gets punished on the spot for doing wrong, is it because Allah doesn't like me?

It is said that Allah shows good dreams and Shaythan shows bad dreams. I my 22 years and I haven't ever seen a good dream, rather I have seen many weird and filthy dreams that is even nauseating to talk about. Is it because Allah doesn't love me?

How do I know if Allah likes me. I have committed a sin to my parents, i.e. I thought they were doing wrong and made them cry. I felt that they were wrong but it was only because I couldn't understand them. Is there any way that I can repent?

Calculating haidh for a woman who has never experienced a minimum of 15 complete days of tuhr

Q: I am confused regarding my haidh. Please advise.

I get haidh consisting of red blood for around 7-8 days each month. The rest of the month I get a discharge (varying between clear, white and yellow, most of the time it is yellow).

I used to consider my haidh as 10 days (the 7 or 8 days of blood and 2 or 3 days of discharge). Then I would make a ghusl and make wudhu for every salaah thereafter until I see blood again.

I do not get my haidh on the same days of the month (i.e. a few days before or after the last date). For the past 5 years, my haidh has been like this. I used to get my haidh for two years prior to these 5 years, but unfortunately I did not record my cycle (I think it was the same like the 5 years).

Below is the days I've recorded as haidh for the past year in the manner as stated above:

2019
- 8 Oct - 18 Oct
- 11 Nov - 21 Nov
- 17 Dec - 27 Dec

2020

- 17 Jan - 27 Jan
- 11 Feb - 21 Feb
- 21 Mar - 31 Mar
-27 Apr - 6 May
- 31 May- 10 Jun
- 1 Jul - 11 Jul
- 31 Jul - 10 Aug

Please advise.

Zakaat on a fish farm

Q:

1. I have a fish farm. How do I pay zakaat on it ? Do I have to pay zakaat on the amount of fish I have purchased for or do I have to pay on the current market price of all the fish I have?

2. What if most of the fish died and I am unable to know the exact amount of fish in the farm?
