1. If persons' A, B and C were going to inherit and person C decided that he didn't want his share, does his share go back into the "pot" and distributed accordingly between persons A and B or can person C instruct the executor as to how they want to receive that share?

2. When distributing the deceased's wasiyat for missed fasts, salaah, etc., to who can this money be given to? E.g Musjid, madrasah, Muslim organisations, poor Muslims, etc. What would be the best way to distribute it.

Q: A couple bought a house in both their names, shared the deposit and took finance jointly. Subsequently the husband gave her one or two talaaqs and she completed her iddat. Thereafter the couple planned to re-marry. Her condition for the second re-marriage was that the mahr must be the house that was jointly purchased, so that she has full power to the house.

The question that is being asked is that is it possible to give a house on bond as mahr, considering that the payments are in arrears. The bank wants to auction the house. So is it permissible to give this house as mahr, the house is not paid for yet, so ownership still remains with the bank until fully paid for.

Q: I am a Graphics Designer. I have been working on the software called Illustrator. This software is used to make logo, portraits and many other designs.

I work for different clients all over the world. In almost all the projects I have to make a picture of a human, animals and plants to make it attractive. But I came to know from somewhere that making these designs is forbidden in Islam. If yes, then why taking pictures is allowed?

I hope to get a detailed answer. If this is really forbidden then please suggest what I can create. I think in these ages its difficult to run away from pictures and drawings since they are every where.
