Objections against the Ahaadith of Fazaail Aamaal

Q: I am troubled by a comment someone has made to me regarding the Fazaail Aamaal. We grew up reading it, and so did this person. But now suddenly, through the influence of another person, this person says that Fazaail Aamaal is a "Tabligh kitaab" which is unreliable as it contains weak Ahaadith.

Can you please explain to me whether Fazaail Aamaal is a reliable kitaab or not.

Meaning of the Hadith "extinguish your lamps" before going to sleep

Q: What's the ruling about extinguishing your lamps, how we understand it?

It was narrated from Jabir ibn `Abd-Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“When the wings of the night spread – or when evening comes – keep your children in, for the devils come out at that time. Then when part of the night has passed, let them go. And close the doors and mention the name of Allah, for the devil does not open a closed door. And tie up your waterskins and mention the name of Allah, and cover your vessels and mention the name of Allah, even if you only put something over them, and extinguish your lamps.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari, 3280 and Muslim, 2012)

Disbelievers in the time of Nabi Nooh (alaihis salaam) afflicted with a skin disease

Q: I want to know if this is authentic:

When Nooh (alaihis salaam) was building his ark then the disbelievers came and defecated on the ship. Allah Ta'ala sent a certain skin disease upon these people which they had no cure for. So one disbeliever with the disease slips near the ship and falls into the faeces then realizes he has been cured. All disbelievers then came and cleaned the ship by applying all the faeces to their own bodies.
