Paying for a driving license

Q: I have been for 2 driving tests and have failed on both tries. Due to not offering a bribe. I am now told that this is a problem countrywide and that the only way to get it is to solicit a bribe. Multiple family members of mine in my area as well as certain aalims family have done this out of desperation. I however would like to know the position on this matter. I am aware that it is illegal in the state.

It can be assured that I am a proper driver and not a hazard on the road. The only reason for looking at this avenue is due to the corruption being so widespread that this seems the only way to obtain my rights. Although it is morally hazardous, please advise me the Muslim viewpoint on this matter bearing in mind that it is out of desperation due to no other options.

Committing oneself to following one mazhab

Q: I am a resident of UK, originally from Kurdistan, Iraq. I did not follow a particular mazhab/fiqh before as I was unaware of the four mazhabs. I met a Muslim friend in my university and we prayed zuhr salah together. He informed me about the sunnah salah before the fard salah of zuhr which I never knew was sunnah because I have only prayed the fard salah in the past without ever praying anything before or after. We prayed Asr together as well and he said to wait because he followed the Hanafi Mazhab and the time for Asr starts later according to the Hanafi Mazhab.

He explained to me the various sunnah salah associated with the daily five prayers and told me that people form Kurdistan follow the Shafi'i Mazhab. He gave me a breakdown of the daily salahs as mentioned below but he said this is according to the Hanafi Mazhab. He did not know if it was the same according to the Shafi'i Mazhab. Can you tell me the Salah breakdown below for the Shafi'i Mazhab? What will be different?

Fajr - 2 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Fard

Zuhr - 4 Sunnah Muakkadah, 4 Fard, 2 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Nafl

Asr - 4 Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah, 4 Fard

Maghrib - 3 Fard, 2 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Nafl

Esha - 4 Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah, 4 Fard, 2 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Nafl, 3 Witr Wajib, 2 Nafl

Jumuah - 4 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Fard, 4 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Sunnah Muakkadah, 2 Nafl

Repenting from a life of sin

Q: I have lived a life full of sins. I have committed every sin there is, all of them are major ones. I have also committed a lot of zina. Having committed all the sins intentionally, will Allah forgive me? Do I have a chance at redemption? I want to stop all of this and turn back to Allah. I need some advice on how to turn my life around.

Iddah after khula

Q: I have come across a Hadith of Tirmizi which says that the iddah of khula is one menstrual cycle.

But there have been some disputes regarding it and preferable period is three menstrual cycle.
Please clarify this difference of opinion.

If in the case of Khula being one menstrual cycle, can the lady go out and pursue her education if she wants to if after her cycle has ended?
