Tenant growing herbs in a common area of a complex

Q: I stay in a rented apartment which has a common park and green area for its tenants. Is it permissible for me to grow some herbs, like coriander, in the common green area and use it for myself?

A: If the landlord allows the tenants to grow herbs etc. in that area, then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
