Fulfilling the command of one's mother first

Q: If the commands from your parents are contradictory, who do you obey?

A: If both your parents at the same time command you to do some act of service to them, then you should fulfill your mother's command first as she has a greater right over you than your father's right of service over you.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
