Q: I am a woman who lives in Canada and I need to get my passport renewed in order to go to Turkey where the rest of my family has settled. I am not financially independent so I cannot live here on my own. However the place where I need to go to get my passport renewed is over 100 km from where I live. I have no mahrams here and my father who is in Turkey is not religious and would not come to Canada just to drive me 100 km to get my passport. I can drive myself but I know that I cannot go that far without a mahram normally. In this situation can I just drive myself? If not what would you advise I do?

Q: If an airport is out of the city population, would someone who is not a passenger and going to drop off or pick up someone pray qasr?

Q: If a person living in North Beach, Durban travels to the Pietermaritzburg CBD using the N3 will he be considered a Musafir?

Q: If I intend to travel to a place which is more than 50 miles away (Place A), and intend to stay there for 20 days, I understand that I will not be a traveler and will not do qasr. However, after 20 days at Place A, if I travel to Place B which is 50 miles away from Place A, and intend on staying there for 5 days, will I do qasr in Place B?

Q: If a person lives in Middelburg and studies in Johannesburg, can he make Jhb his watan asli and Middelburg his watan iqaamah. He is in Jhb for most of the year. Only during his holidays does he go home to Middelburg. Middelburg is more than 80 km from Jhb. 

Q: I am visiting Europe for 2 weeks (16 days precisely) and will be travelling to different countries within Europe, which each being more than 100 kms apart. Shall I perform qasar namaaz there or full namaaz, considering I know the dates already and its more than 15days.

Q: A certain musaafir was following a muqeem in salaah and the musaafir was masbooq as well. However, he forgot about his missed rakaats and made salaam with the Imaam, and only remembered some time later that he did not perform the entire salaah. Should he make qadha of two rakaats or four rakaats?​

Q: I take Pietermaritzburg as my home (Wathne Asli), however due to me studying and being married, I live in Isipingo Beach and take Isipingo as my Wathne Iqaamat. If I stay in Isipingo for less than 15 days will I be a musaafir in Isipingo? Doesَ my wife have to follow my intention as taking Pietermaritzburg as my Wathne Asli and Isipingo as my Wathne Iqaamat, or can she take Isipingo as her Wathne Asli?

Q: Can I travel to Dubai with my brother to visit my parents if my husband does not allow me for it?
