Staying in Azizia for 17 days

Q: I want to know if I am considered as a mussafir or not. I went for umrah on the 19th December 2015 and returned on the 2nd January 2016. During my time in umrah I was in Makkah for three days, Madinah three days and in yanbu al bahr for 7 days. So please can you tell me if I am considered Musafir or not?

I've told her I will accompany her during her journey i.e from Johannesburg to her destination drop her off and do the same for her return journey. Please advise if this is acceptable?
