Q: Can and imaam put on a short sleeve jubba to perform salaat in jama'ah?
Q: If you happen to pray behind an imaam without a beard or with a trimmed beard, the jamaat prayer will be beneficial. But the prayer is not fulfilled. So I heared for a bayaan that you pray the prayer personally.
This needs clarification. Because the imam who prays in our masjid has a habit of cutting his beard.
Q: Is Namaz accepted behind an Imam who openly sins like goes to the cinema?
Q: I am living in Canada and perform salaah in a masjid or musalla where sometimes the salah is led by an Imam whose pants are below his ankle or someone has no beard and I don’t have any other choice. This happened once in a while. Do I have to repeat that salah after the jamaat or will it be okay? If I have to repeat the salah then I can repeat it in the future if this one happens but what about the past salah that I don’t know how many it was.
Q: Can a person who has a lisp or a problem with any other letter be made imam for salaah in a masjid?
Q: There is a person who is a khunsa (hermaphrodite), but classified as a man now due to beard, urination etc. But he originally had two private parts. He does not have any attraction to any gender.
1. Is this person considered a khunsa or a man?
2. Is his imaamat of men valid? Or makrooh or what
3. Can a mukhannas be an imam?
From what I understand that it is a man but with womenly movements and speech
Q: If the imaams pants are below his ankles and your pants are above the ankles, is my prayer valid?
Q: I am 19 years old and I used to trim my beard. (استغفرلله) Now, I have stopped and I have a beard protruding an inch or so. Can I lead a prayer or call the Azaan? I do not know whether my beard would have reached one fist or not if I had never cut it. Alhamdulilah, I have made Taubah. Am I eligible for imamat and calling the Azaan?
Q: I would like to know on what basis is a person justified to leave out performing salaah behind a particular Imaam? For example, if the Imaam shaves his beard and is involved in haraam activities, will one be justified in not performing salaah behind him?
Q: I am a Sunni Muslim and we pray different to Shia Muslims.
My question is, how should I pray with jamaat when I visit Karbala. Can you please put some light on this.
