Hair falling while in ihraam

Q: Would biting nails in the state of ihraam result in dam being waajib? If yes then what would be the dam in this situation?
Q: I would like to know what is the ruling on wearing niqab while praying and wearing niqab while making hajj. I have read that regarding hajj it is not permissible to wear niqab but rather to wear a covering of some sort? I do not understand what is meant by that.
Q: Are the following permissible in the state of Ihram:
1. Toothpaste
2. Scented/unscented oil, soap, shampoo, etc
3. Chewing gum (flavoured or unflavoured)
4. Food with a nice smell
5. Applying creams or lotion on the body.
