Covering the Feet when Sleeping in Ihraam

Q: I am aware that when a male is in the state of ihraam, then it is necessary for him to leave the shoelace area of the feet uncovered. What about when he is sleeping in the state of ihraam? Can his feet be covered by the duvet or blanket?

A: The covering of the feet with a duvet or blanket is permissible. The prohibition of covering the feet applies to wearing footwear or socks (or leather socks) that cover that area.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
