Q:

1. Can one use a blanket with sewn borders during ihram?

2. Can one wear a watch with a leather strap which has stitches during ihram?

Q: I wore mozas in Madina at 10 am. We travelled to Makkah from Madina and arrived at 5.30 pm in Makkah. We will be staying for more then 15 days in Makkah. We made saee at 1 pm. on the following day. I did not remove my mozas. I had trimmed my hair. Do I have to repeat saee and is there dam to pay.

Q:

1. Can a person make his salatul ihraam e.g. at JHB Airport and only make his niyyat before approaching the miqaat when flying on Saudia Airways for umrah?

2. Similarly, can a person make his salaatul ihraam at Dubai Airport and only make his niyyat as approaching the miqaat when flying Emirates?

3. When landing in Dubai, it is already fajr time, we made salaatul ihraam and thereafter read fajr salaat because we had to leave for Jeddah. Is it Ok to read salaatul ihraam in fajr time, before we read fajr. If not, how should it be done?

Q: Can my husband and sons use a belt while in ihram to secure it instead of pins?

Q: I'm male and suffer from male pattern baldness and as a result I'm wearing a wig to only cover the top part of my head, the rest of my hair is my own.

1. Am I allowed to wear the wig while I perform Umrah?

2. If not, and I continue wearing it do I have to pay dumm?

3. How much is the dumm and what do I need to do?

Q: A person went for Umrah. After a few days he decided to go for ziyarat to Taif (up to Masjid Abdullah bin Abbaas radhiyallahu anhuma) from Makkah.

1. Was it necessary for him to return with Ihraam back to Makkah?

2. If yes, then what is the penalty as he is now back in South Africa. 

Q: If a person wears ihram at the airport and offers 2 rakat ihram salaah and then makes niyyat in the aeroplane before passing the meeqat, is that correct?

Q: I wear a wig due to baldness. I am proceeding for Hajj. Please tell me if I am allowed to wear the wig under my hijab for ihraam. 

Q: If I am on safar for Umrah and the intention is to go to Makkah first but I decide to spend one night in Jeddah. When will I have to wear my Ihraam, on the plane or after spending the night in Jeddah?

Q: I would like to know can I use non scented lotion and non scented sunblock while in ihram.
