Taking medication that contains alcohol

Q: I suffer with gout and there is a Liquid Medication available (Lifetones Acid Clear) which contains Alcohol derived from Sugar Cane. 30 drops of the medication has to be taken in half a glass of water. Is it permissible to take this medication? The package insert states that the water can be boiled to 100 degrees Celcius and then the drops can be added to the boiling water therby evaporating the Alcohol, however while travelling this might not always be possible.

Q: My sister suffers from severe menstrual pain therefore her parents wanted her to take HPR high dose but she kept it in the corner of her mouth but didn't swallow it.Her father double checked her mouth but didn't find anything miraculously. Her father then asked if she had swallowed it or if she was lying. She replied in the former answer which was not true. But she didn't swallow it and it decreased the Blood flow. Will it be considered a lie?

Nose surgery

Q: My question is regarding septo-rhinoplasty. I have a deviated septum and outwardly the left nasal bone is wider then the right, giving an unpleasant appearance to the left side of the nose. This causes psychological distress and the deviated septum causes left side to be blocked, i.e there isn't full flow of air at certain times. The doctor said he will correct the deviation and will make the left nasal wide making it more natural and even. Along with this the nose will be defined and reduced in size in very conservative manner. I believe when they reduce left nasal bone to balance with the rest of face and make it look normal it would need to be defined to give normal appearance. Is it permissible?
