Beards and Moustache

Q: Is it compulsory for a Muslim man to keep a beard when his father is strictly forbidding him from doing so? What should a man do in this condition?

Q: If I have hairs with split ends in my beard and bite the split ends off is this a sin? People say that split ends hinders hair growth.

Q: I have a full grown beard and the problem is it's balding in patches and it's falling a lot. What should I do or can I remove it an take some treatment an see how it grows again? It was such a jihaad to keep it and it was looking so marshaallah an now this is what's happening. Its looking bad with patches all over.

Q: Please inform me of the Sunnah way of keeping a beard? Please let me know of the areas which you can shave and which you cannot.

Q: I would like to know whether it is permissible to trim the moustache if I don't have a full 1 fist beard yet, but my beard is in the initial growing stages (I do have little hair on the 2 sides and on my chin). If it's not permissible and I have already trimmed it before and now it grows faster and thicker so should I trim it?

1. Is it Haraam or Makrooh Tahreemi to remove the beard on the two parts of the cheeks and keep only the one on the chin?
2. Is it Makrooh Tahreemi to remove the white beard on both (the thick and thin beard)?

4. Can a faasiq be a witness or wakeel for a nikah?
5. Some people remove the two side of the anfaqa (baby beard), what is the hukm?

Q: Is it makrooh tanzeeehi or tahreemi to pluck the white or grey hair from the beard or hair?

Q: What is the fist length of the beard? Is there any measurement as in inches or centimeters?

1. Can I grow my beard up to my chest. Would it be better to grow upto the chest or only one fist.
