Dawat and Tabligh

Supporting Deen

Q: We hear the following in bayaans: "How will we answer on the day of qiyaamah when Allah Ta'ala will ask us that the deen was coming out of the lives of people and what did you do about it? We will be questioned about this " Is this type of statement or subject found in the hadith?

Da'wah to non-Muslims

Q: I don't know everything about Islam but it is my duty to forward the little knowledge about Islam that I have. So I want to ask how to give dawah to a non Muslim. Should we start with inviting them to Islam or start a conversation and invite them later on?

Usools of the tablighi jamaat

Q: In the mastooraat programmes of the tabligh jamaat, some usools are, that ladies are:

1) Not allowed to give bayaan. Only speak a straightforward 6 points following the tarteeb without making it flowery and giving their own input.

2) Not allowed to sit on a chair and read the kitaab or speak the 6 points. To the extent that if a lady is elderly and normally sits on a chair then too she must sit on the floor otherwise she mustn't read.

I would like to know the basis of these usools if mufti can explain, the reasons ladies can't give bayaans, nor sit on the chair?

Dawat and tabligh

Q: I have a question about importance of dawat and tabligh. I want to know if tabligh is fard or wajib or anything else? Tell me anything about dawah in Islam in Shariah. I want to ask that if I don't do dawah do I go to paradise or am I a real muslim that Allah accepts?

Imaan and Salaah

Q: We hear in jamaat bayaans that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and sahabah made effort on imaan for 9 to 13 years, sometimes we hear 11 to 13 years, before salaah and other commandments came down. What should one say, 9, 11, 13, years effort of imaan was made before the commandments came down from Allah?
