Q: I want to ask that what are the effects of chaand grihen on pregnant women because I am 6 months pregnant and today night is chaand grihen?

Q: Is it right that if a pregnant woman reads or talks about great persons of Islam the child in the womb will be born as such?

Q: According to our Islamic beliefs, when is a foetus inside a mothers womb given life i.e. it's rooh?

Q: Is it permissible to find out the gender of the child before it is born? What if not then can you please provide a brief explanation?

Q: I am 7 months pregnant and suffer from backaches and leg pains. Will it be permissible for me to sit and read salaah when the pain is very severe?

Q: In Islam, it is recommended to have many kids and offspring, but, the increase in population is also a sign of the coming of the day of judgement, so does this not contradict? A good command which represents the coming of bad days?

1. My wife is pregnant so she goes for ultrasound every month (because there is a little problem with pregnancy so doctors want to keep there eyes on it). Every time we go for ultrasound the dr ask us if we know the gender of the baby but I always tell them we don't want to know because this is blessing from Allah so boy or girl doesn't make a different as long as it's healthy but now somebody told my wife that it is ok to know the gender before birth so now she want's to know it which I totally don't agree. Please tell me if it permissible in Islam or not because it's a blessing from Allah?
2. Once one find out that she's pregnant then until what time they can share the bed or we should stop as soon we find out what does Islam says about these two things please tell us?

Q: I am one month away from giving birth. Does Surah Maryam help to ease labour? What else can I read for a healthy baby, easy labour and at time of labour? Also have been told to eat a lot of dates. Please advise if there is any truth to Surah Maryam recitation and eating dates.

Q: Please can you tell me all the things that need to be done and duahs etc to be read on giving birth?

Q: What Tasbee should a pregnant women recite for blessings from Allah?
