1) When I gave my zakaat, I gave it with the intention of zakaat and of a worldly benefit e.g. increase in wealth. If my intention was not to please Allah or to attain anything in the hereafter, will it be valid?

Since the donations made by the Foundation are tax deductible, it is a way in which Muslims can minimize their tax burden in a legal way when Zakaat is paid.
