Q:

1. How should we discard the papers/school books/note books having words written like Allah, Allah's names or ayahs etc.?

2. Which words need to be given respect and removed from before throwing away the books? Are the words Quran, Rasool, Nabi, Muhammad or any Surah's name to be discarded with respect?

3. If we burn them, can the ash be thrown anywhere?

Abusive parent

Q: What are the obligations of a child to a parent who has emotionally abused their children and refuses to take responsibility or pay any bills relating to the children and household expenses? If this parent keeps late hours and is difficult to live with, can the children move out or make him move out (with the help of other relatives)? And will my lack of affection toward this parent ( my father) be a sin? I am afraid of him testifying against me on judgment day, but to be honest I feel life would be easier without him in my life. Q: With regards to Islamic literature, for example letters and leaflets that contain the name of Allah Ta'ala and the prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam), how are they to be disposed of? Is it correct to wipe away/erase those names and then dispose of the letters in the bin, or must they be burned?

Q: Main bohat pareshan hon apne ghar waalon se kyun ki gharpe walidain ke saat badhzuban istemaal hoti hai. Lekin meri walidain ko aur bhaiyon ko bora nahi lagta. Lekin main ek haq baat karta hon to main sab ki nazron mein bora banjaata hon. Aisa kyun? Aur mere chote bhai aur mere bade bhai log walid ya waalda se badhzuban se baat karte hai to hamare bade hasi mein baat ko woda dete hain. Aur main thuda ghusse mein baat karta hon to os baat pahad se bhi bada bana dete hain aisa kyun hora hai mere saath? Agar ghar pe koi ghalat horaha hota hai to main faoran moonh pe booldeta hon kya ye mera rookna ghalat hai kya mera ghusse jayaz nahi hai kya main ghalat hon bataiye main kya karon?

Showing respect to the Hadith

Q: I am really worried. I was talking to a friend and we were arguing on something. He said if you leave it for 40 days you will forget it. Get used to not having it (at that time I didn't have it in mind that it's a hadith). Then he said it's a hadith and we were in argument and I said I know it's a hadith and I said don't put hadith into worldly matters.
