Q: I wanted to dye my hair with mendi. I don the purdah when I go outside. My husband says I must not do it. He does not give me permission. What should I do? 

Q: I am 18 years old and studying in 12th grade. I am growing a beard but my beard looks odd. I used gel to make it look straight but nothing happened. People everyday say me to neaten my beard and criticize me. Well all of these made me lose confidence. I dont want to meet people because they will criticize me. Can I just neaten my beard and will let it grow step by step?

Q: Kindly tell me according to Islam that can women remove hair from legs and hands.

Q: Is hair or beard dyeing permissible only for job purposes which is advised by an employer? It is a customer service sales job. The employer advised me to colour my hair and beard black to show that I am younger because markets like young energetic people. It is a garments label industry. Here, colouring the hair or beard black (to show that I am young) will not cheat people. It is only to show that the company has appointed smart officials. There is no cheating in the product. Product quality will remain ok as per company policy. I need a ruling in this regard.

Q: Can a woman use an epilator to remove hair from her private parts?

Q: What is the ruling on cutting/trimming hair for women? Is it not permissible to cut hair at all or the hair (except for Hajj and umrah) can be cut but it should be below the level of the shoulders.

Q: What is the status of abstaining from clipping the nails and trimming the hair during the first ten days of Zul Hijjah for the person wishing to make Qurbaani? In regard to this mas'alah, what is the preferred opinion in the Hanafi Mazhab?

Q: I would like to find out what is the ruling regarding the removal of hair for a woman while she is in the state of haidh?

Q: As it is the trend nowadays for a male to cut his hair two lengths what is the ruling against it? Because as far as I know it is not a good act.

Q: I came to know that In Shafi Madhab cutting beard is Makrooh (disliked) as said by their two great Shaikhs, Shaikh Al Nawai and I forgot the name of the other Shaikh. Can I follow Shafi madhab in the ruling of cutting the beard as I follow the Hanafi madhab but because I am feeling great resistance from society.
