Q: What answer can be given to those who say: How can keeping the beard to a fist length can be classified as Sunnat while even the jews, hindus etc keep long beards? Please give a jami' answer.

Q: I have heard that a woman is not allowed to cut her hair like how a man should not cut his beard. Please advise me as to the Trimming of a woman's hair (like how a man trims any strands that stick out of his beard so that his beard is neat).

Q: Are you allowed to trim the hair on the top of your thighs and on the top part of your leg at the front if the hairs are big to stop you from having doubts when using the toilet or doing ghusl for e.g. having doubts whether the private organ has touched a hair after urinating because it is so close to each other?

Q: It says in Jawahir ul Fiqh volume 7 page 170 it is makrooh to use black colour hair dye reference from Alamgeeri and Durremukhtar, by makrooh does it mean makrooh tanzihi or Tahrimi because I was told its makrooh tanzihi?

Q: Are women allowed to wear the flower under the scarf? Some have said it resembles the camel hump which is not allowed, while others have said that it is allowed as long as it does not go higher than the crown of the head.

Q: In besides Umrah and Hajj is it Sunnah or just permissible to shave the head? (I read Imam Tahawi Rahmatullahi alaih has mentioned it is sunnah).

Q: When I was young I managed to shave both of my eyebrows by playing with a Gillette razor in the shower and it has never grown out normal like I had it from that time. I have really regretted it because some extra hair underneath the eyebrows is growing from my eyebrow to my eyes. So I do not look like how I used to normally. Now I remove the extra hair underneath to only have my original eyebrow left. Is this allowed for me? Because I don't change anything with my original eyebrow only the excessive hair that came after I ruined my eyebrow with shaving it all of by razor.

Q: Inform me please in the light of proof (ahadith) those parts of the hair on the face that form part of the beard. Here in Mauritius the salafi brothers claim that the hair on both the cheeks and neck also form part of the beard.

Q: Do boys or men have to keep a beard? If they don't are they going to get punished?
