Q: There was a flood outside my home and it came in till my room. I was getting ready to go to Madrassah, regardless, and looked out the window to see some guy white water rafting, having a whale of a time and some of my neighbours were watching. So then I was getting a bit anxious but thought chalo, I'll need to wade out. But then I made du'aa and as soon as I finished, the flood waters receded completely.
A: This refers to the fithna of the time. We should save our self and all those we are able to influence.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
