Will a person who does not perform salaah become a kaafir?

Q: I have heard that a person who does not pray namaaz at all is a kafir. Is this true? What about a person who prays only in Ramadan. Will he or she be considered a kafir?

A: No. But he is doing something that resembles the kuffaar.
