Husband a wife living separate without any talaaq being issued

Q: I need to ask a question about a couple who have been separated for more than 6 months. We wanted to help them reconcile but we want to first make sure that their Nikah is still valid.

A: If they were just living separate but no talaaq was issued, then the nikaah still remains.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
