Muslim handling haraam food

Q: A neighbour of mine got a Muslim friend a job in the catering department of her workplace. His job involves ordering food for the canteen. He refuses to deal with pictures or images of non Halaal food but doesn't mind handling it. Is it forbidden to look at non Halaal food?
A: It is haraam for a believer to have any involvement with haraam. Hence, it is not permissible for him to handle the haraam food, regardless of whether he looks at it while handling it or not. If he is required to handle haraam food and is unable to excuse himself, then he should look for another job.
