Saying "God bless you" when speaking to non-Muslims

Q: Are we allowed to make dua for non Muslims? For example, when speaking to nurses/cashiers and if they did us a favour can we say God bless you?

A: Instead of saying God, it is better to say "May Allah Ta'ala, the Almighty, bless you with goodness". When saying goodness, one should intend that Allah Ta'ala grant them imaan and the goodness and blessings of Islam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
