Q: I bought a shirt that said “godfather” for my cousin without realizing that I am actually buying it for him and realized afterward and was a mistake. Is it okay for him to wear this and what should I do? He is not very religious so if I tell him not to wear it he will most possible not understand.
A: He should not wear this T-shirt as the word "godfather" has christian connotations. Explain to him that you made a mistake by purchasing it for him and that he should not wear the T-shirt.
