Person saying to his wife by her mother's house "you can stay here permanently"

Q: If you talking to your wife and you say by her mother's house "you can stay here permanently and I'll come visit you here' is this a divorce? 

A: No divorce has taken place. 

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
