Women's hair becoming exposed during salaah

Q: If while praying, my scarf kept falling and I kept picking it up, do I have to repeat my prayer?

A: If during the salaah your entire hair became exposed through your scarf falling off, then your salaah had broken. The Fuqahaa have mentioned that if a woman's hair on her head (i.e. quarter or more) becomes exposed for the duration of three subhananallahs, then her salaah will be invalid. Hence, you will have to repeat the salaah.
