Q: I am feeling very despondent and like my yakeen and hope in Allah's help is at an all time low even though my amaal and ibaadat is at an all time high.
I am doing different dhikrs for ease, for barakah in wealth, in getting good proposals for my daughters. I have been consistent with Tahajjud, dhikr, Quran, dua and also sitting in the company of the Ulama, attending dhikr programmes but it feels like my duas are not getting fulfilled, difficulties keep coming and I am beginning to question my imaan and this is making me extremely afraid that Allah is angry with me.
Please advise on how to overcome this.

A: Don't ever think that Allah Ta'ala is displeased with you on account of things not working out as you expect.
A believer should at all times have a good opinion of Allah Ta‘ala and hope in His mercy.
Everything has a time and Allah Ta'ala knows what is good for each person at which point in his life.
As long as you are turning to Allah Ta‘ala and trying to fulfil what He wants from you while refraining from sins, Allah Ta‘ala's mercy will be directed towards you and your family.
The system of Allah Ta‘ala is that every person does not get everything he wants in the time he expects. Rather, Allah Ta‘ala grants the servant what is good for him.
At times, a servant receives what he asks for after some time. At times, what the servant asks for is not good for him. Hence, Allah Ta'ala grants him something better either in this world or the hereafter. At times, Allah Ta‘ala does not grant the servant what he asks for, but Allah Ta'ala saves him and his family from a calamity that would have befallen him.
Therefore, you should continue to turn to Allah Ta‘ala and beg Him for His special grace and mercy while being pleased at all times with His decree and decision.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
