Q: My sister passed away drinking poison. She later realised but it was too late. She did not want to die. But she is dead now. We want to see her in our dreams. It's been one week after her death but we cannot see her in our dream. How do we know whether she is doing good or bad? How do we know if Allah has forgiven her?
A: Don't worry about seeing her in a dream. Make du`aa for her. May Allah Ta`ala grant her a good abode and forgive her shortcomings.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
