ISIS

Q: Many brothers from our community are recently speaking positively about ISIS being the correct khilafa. Without getting into many unnecessary debates or arguments, I have been unable to debunk these brother's theories or supporting arguments. They seem to be convincing many others that this is indeed the jihad of Imam Mahdi and are preparing to embark on the journey to join. Much of their argument is based on the fact that Isis is not murdering anyone. That they are living just as the sahabah lived, and they are awaiting Imam Mahdi's arrival. Please guide regarding ISIS and the signs of the correct khilafa.

Haraam relationships

Q: My question is about girlfriend boyfriend relationship. I have a girlfriend and I do love her and she loves me too. My questions are as follows:-

1. Is it permissible in Islam to love a girl? (If we truly love her, without having any need or desire and want to truly marry her Insha Allah)

2. Is it right that according to a Hadith of Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) it is better if we marry someone whom we love rather than marrying the one whom we don't know (i.e. arranged marriage)?

3. Can I keep a halaal relationship, if we have not done or not desire to do any dirty or haraam things with her?

4. Is keeping a relationship considered as halaal, or allowed if I want to truly marry her Insha Allah.

5. If she is my girlfriend and in future Insha allah I will marry her, then would she be a halaal wife?

6. Can I meet her in public places (one hafiz told me this)?

7. Can I touch her a bit also (holding hands)

8. Apart from touching hand what else is permissible if I truly want to marry her (means hugging or just sitting side by side together)?

9. All in all what are your views about relationships if I want to truly marry her and I truly love her? What is halaal and haram and what is right and wrong? What is allowed and not allowed under these circumstances? I will be very very very very thankful to you if you answer all these questions in detail so that I can understand well.

Giving a loan in a foreign currency

Q: I have some money in the form of foreign currency which I bought for investment purpose a year ago at 15.75/ unit of currency. Now one of my friends needs some money and he approached me to lend him some amount for a few months. As I don't have money in the form of Pakistaani Rupees, I told him to take foreign currency from me and get it exchanged with Pakistaani rupees. But I put one condition that I have bought that currency @ 15.75/unit and now the market rate of that currency is 13/unit. I gave him 3000 units of currency no matter at which rate he will sell those units in the market but he will have to return me the money @ 15.75 on which I originally bought that units. For example if now he sold that 3000 units @ 13 in market he will get Rs.39000 but he will have to return me the money @ 15.75 which becomes Rs.47250. Is getting that extra amount justified by Shariah? Is it a Halaal transaction to do?
