Q: Is it permissible to work in an Islamic bank department within a conventional bank?

Q: I am planning to join google and the work relates to working on maps. So we may have to highlight places like Musjids, churches, malls and wine shops too. Is it allowed to mark such places in this kind of job?

Q: I had rented out my property to a non-muslim who is running online shopping business i mean he is selling ladies clothes from there so my question is if he do some unlawful and wrong activity over there than i will be sinful for it and my rental income will be halaal? My intention is leasing property for renting purpose.

Q: Is it permissible for one to have an ATM installed in his store? The ATM machine offers a person many benefits and advantages such as being able to withdraw money from one’s account, view one’s bank balance, etc. The ATM, however, can also be used to withdraw interest-bearing loans using a credit card.

Q: Please advise on lease agreements:

1. Is it necessary for a formal lease agreement contract to be in conformity with the Shariah? I understand that any faasid, baatil, or haraam conditions made compulsory by the Government will be excused.

2. Also, is it possible that on account of a lease agreement with faasid, baatil, or haraam conditions, the rent the lessor receives will be haraam money?

Q: I am a student who wishes to take up a job with Uber Eats. The job is basically to deliver food which can include haraam food and even alcohol. Uber pays an hourly rate for the delivery service. Is this job permissible?

Q: I am working in Dubai Airport. I am working in Cargo. We are handling Cargo going to US military Bases in Afghanistan on a daily basis. Cargo include Food for soldiers and other items which include whatever they need to survive. It is coming from US to Dubai via a ship and from here to Afghanistan through Air. Is my job halaal or not?

Q: I saw a story online regarding an air hostess who refused to serve alcohol. She is a wage employee of the airline and the passengers are not Muslims. Is her refusal to serve alcohol permissible?

Q: Is Banking job in UK prohibited? Few relatives are saying I must quit bank job immediately as this is Haram. I have concern when Saudi Arabia is Shariah based country than why their banking system is interest based.

Q: If I am a pilot working for an airline that serves or sells alcohol to its passengers, does that make my salary tainted and haraam?
