Various masaail of Hajj & Umarah

Q: I have been told that when visiting the holy places, Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Tayyibah, one should not bring home the sand or rocks as momentos. Please elaborate.

Q: I have a question that I'm having difficulty in finding an answer for. Would appreciate some help! I have read and heard that if a female gets her period during Umrah/Hajj, she can perform every ritual except Tawaf. Now some scholars say she can enter haram and others say she can't. I'm confused, because to do the Sai (in periods) one would have to enter the Haram. Can I sit in haram with my periods just to do tasbih?

Q: There is one family and they want to go for umrah but they dont have enough money to go for umrah... So I told them that I will send them for umrah... I just wanted to know what is the fazeelat/benfits from Allah if someone sends another for umrah?

Q: I want to ask about a property issue. What is the haqq of a girl child in Islam? How much should a father alot for his children if he has three children? The father converted to Islam just now only and does not believe in this, how to explain to him about this? And also this year the father is taking his elder daughter for hajj as her husband is an Ismaili and is not ready to give her money for hajj. Does the father have to give his younger daughter money for hajj?

Q: Is it a sin to sit with your back facing the Kaaba Sharif? My table and chair is in such a direction that my back faces the Kaaba Sharif.

Q: Should we change our Abaaya when we tie ihram for Umrah and Should we wash our Abaya After Umrah as we wash our ihram or we can use it without washing.

Q: Is it permissible to write names on the Kabah and Jabal-e-Rehmat? I have seen many people writing their names on the Kabah and Jabl-e-Rehmat. Isn't it shirk?

Q: Can I wear my contact lenses during the 5 days of hajj or even umrah for that matter? I do have weak eyesight but my contacts are coloured.

Q: My husband and I are going for Umrah insha Allah. My side of the family lives in Durban. Do I have to go and greet them personally or can I greet them over the fone. Please advise.
