Q: Our company has a pension fund that has various portfolios options of which one is a shariah compliant option. The problem is that the fund is loosing so much on my money monthly. Do you continue loosing money or place it in a safe interest bearing portfolio?

Q: My husband gave me only one written divorce (not 3) 3 years back in dubai. After that he realized and made rujoo. I don’t remember after how many days, as I am Sunni Muslim and my husband is Shia, our beliefs are different. I have heard so many times that if a person gave one time divorce and make rujoo (intercourse) then the marriage will continue, I want to know do I have to make any iddat at that time, we don’t know, but if there would be any iddat time then what will I do, do I have to give kuffara? We now moved to Canada one year back from dubai. I will be very thankful as I am very confuse about iddat.

Q: If a person accidentally dropped a Qur'an Majeed, then he gave some money with the intention of sadaqah to the management of the Masjid saying it's Sadaqah money because he dropped the Qur'an Majeed, the question is, can the Sadaqah money be used in the running cost of the Masjid or is it compulsory to give the Sadaqah money to the poor?
Q: Can we do nikaah with ahle kitab. I mean with a Christian girl, or should I tell her to accept Islam as a religion first then I will be able to do nikaah.
Q: I have a commercial property which I want to rent out. I have been approached by a bookmaker who wants to hire the premises. The bookmaker conducts business through a chain of licensed betting shops all over the country. Is it allowed for me, as a landlord, to rent the premises to a business of this type?
Q: I am looking for a job. I have seen many vacancies in banking sector but as its prohibited in Islam I never looked to work into banking. Its been a long time I have been looking to find a job. I have got an opportunity to work with one of the MNC, but they provide service to insurance company and my profile will be customer service executive. Its a BPO service provider. So should I join this company or not. Please help me in this case.
