Q: My husband drinks and gambles and has extra marital affairs with women, comes late at night three, four o'clock, does not give me and my daughters time, not even talk to me, always in anger, does not give me money, but he never beats me up or abuses, does not allow me to do job, but i'm totally fed up of his behaviour. Even I am in depression sometimes thinking of suicide. Can I seek divorce from him? How? What about sponsorship of daughters? Please guide me. Although I know Allah Ta'ala does not like divorce.

Q: If the father has not given the property to his children and his daughter said that she will give her share to her brothers, then before getting the property she changed that she will not give her share to her brothers. Then, she further changed that she will decide to give or not the property according to the situation when she will get her share. When she will get her share what should she do? Is it compulsory for her to give her share to her brothers or not? She changed her decision before becoming the owner of property. Guide me according to fiqh-e-Hanafi.

Q: I have a fourteen year old daughter. Does Mufti saheb advise me to send her for Aalima classes (day classes) or should I teach her at home. If so, what kitaabs can I teach her? I feel the aalima classes have become such that if one's daughter is not going to school, she still has to be 'studying' something. If you tell people your daughter is at home, it's like a disgrace. Q: I didn't know that I was eligible to pay zakaat. I was just informed recently thanks to your answer to a previous question. Now I have had money above nisaab for two years. Should I pay zakat immediately or can I wait till ramadhan and pay for the two years together?

Q: If a person passes away at sea, what should be done? What is the ruling regarding Ghusal, Janaazah Salaah and burial? Can the deceased be placed in cold storage (e.g. cold room) so that on reaching the coast, after one or two months, they can bury him on land?

Q: In my first pregnancy I had a complication which put the baby life at risk and so the baby was born early. Doctors are saying that I am at very high risk of this happening again. The first time the condition that was life threatening to us both was picked up in time so shukr we both are fine. With this warning should I have more children or rather not? If it is life threatening to the mother is it allowed to sterilize?

Q: Is it allowed in Islam for a husband to complain about his wife to his parents who in turn bad mouths his wife as well instead of giving him good advise?

Q: Is it right for in-laws to pass remarks and hint at the daughter in-law calling her a Satan, jaahill and judging her for 26 years?

Q: There is a person who is unfortunately involved in adultery for quite some time as due to lack of proper knowledge of Islam and its rulings on it, but now since that person has become aware of Islam and its punishment for adultery wants to sincerely repent to Allah. There are two questions:

1. How to get rid of the other person with whom adultery has been done since the other person does not want to stop doing it.

2. Powerful dua to ask Allah for forgiveness.

Q: I am a student dependant to my parents. According to the nisab of silver ($400) I am supposed to pay zakaat. And I didn't know this as I was told that nisab is $3000 (as per gold nisab). So should I pay zakaat? I had $500 saved up for about 2 years. Also I was also told that since I am not earning money and I am dependant and my parents do pay zakat, that I am not supposed to. Could you please elaborate?
