Assuming the worst in any situation

Q: Recently, I realised that I think catastrophically. I always assume the worst and anticipate the worst situations which never occur.

I know this bad habit did not appear suddenly, but I had some really bad experiences that came out of the blue which caught me offguard. Now, this habit in the way I think is affecting my life.

I am only 19 and I feel this habit is creating destruction within my home and I fear that it will affect my future even more.

How can I remove this negative way of thinking?

Missing salaah due to shopping

Q: I offer salaah regularly Alhamdulilah but I had a few questions in this regard:

1. Although I don't do hijab but whenever its salaah time I feel restless to pray. I am married and prefer to go out only after magrib so that I don't miss salaah but my husband says it's ok if you miss a salaah for which you can offer qadha later as my urge to pray sometimes causes hurdles in schedule of shopping or doing grocery shopping. Please advise on this.

2. I work in a school and offer Zuhr Salaah during working hours. Is it okay if I do the fardh of wudhu only and offer 4 fardh of zuhr only. Kindly advise on this.

Women travelling without a mahram according to the new law of the Saudi government

Q: Saudia Arabia has announced that women do not need a mahram for umrah or hajj. They can come by their own and perform umrah or hajj. How valid is this fatwa?

My sister has gone without mehram for umrah. There are 10 females and one male (the male is not a mahram for my sister). What is the validity of her umrah? She says that the Saudi government has given a fatwa so she can go without a mahram.

When she comes back, she is planning to go with my mother who is 75 years old without a mahram after 2 months. Only the 2 of them will be going. Can they go according to the new Saudi rule?

Umrah and hajj are now very expensive and spending money and going there just to know that they were not valid feels very sad.

Selling half niqaabs

Q: Is it permissible to sell half niqaabs where eyebrows and forehead are exposed just to encourage sisters in their journey of covering the face ? (because a lot of times in the beginning it's hard for sisters to take a full niqaab).
