Q: If two people at a dawat, or anywhere, have their own plates in front of them before a meal, but choose instead to share one plate, 1) will there be extra barkat in this? 2) Is this Sunnat? Or is this not sensible due to there being 2 plates available.
Q: I was paid for getting internet for a research project sponsored by the government. I went to local private phone company and purchased Internet connection for one year with unlimited use of internet connection. They gave me a small router that I can put in my pocket. I use it or I do not use it, it does not matter. Payment has been made. If I use it for my personal use in addition to the research project use, is it jaaiz? Such use does not burden or hurt the government or the phone company in any way.
Q: I live in a non islamic country where I have a friend who has a pizza shop. In that shop they make pizza with pork as well as other meat (chicken and lamb). Some people said its not allowed for us Muslims to buy or eat from that shop but my friend who has that shop says that we can eat pizza from that shop because they prepare and cook pork pizza separately. They said we have separate dishes and all the staff which are needed for the pork pizza. Bisically same shop but separate tools. Now my question is, Islamicly can we eat or buy pizza from that shop? Does it come under halaal or haraam pizza? Sometimes when we go to their home they order pizza from their shop for us, are we allowed to eat that pizza? If not then how can we avoid eating that pizza without hurting their feelings? Please help.
Q: I am my husbands second wife and married to him since three years. His first wife fights with him now and then as he married me. She threatens him that she will leave his house and take away his children with her. She curses him to die and has scratched his body while fighting . Then after few days tries to be normal as if nothing happened and my husband also forgave her for her bad deeds many times but now the relations have worsened and he wants to divorce her but she doesn't want divorce because she thinks that her husband will become free and will live happily with me. They are not having any any physical relations since a long time. Is my husband at fault for not keeping physical intimacy with her? He is taking care of his family otherwise and doing his duties honestly. Kindly let me know what should he do?
Q: Alhamdulillah and thanks to Allah for all his blessings amongst us. Alhamdulillah who favoured me over many other creations by blessing me with a melodious voice and gave me a wealthy life. My question is that once in my class at school our teacher told us that those who read the Qur'an with nice voices with the intention to please people and impress them with his voice is one of the people of hell and that actually shocked me and kept a "waswasa" in me whenever I'm reading Qur'an in front of the school or my class mates so I don't participate in such activities much anymore. What should I do because I totally doubt that my intention is pure.

Q: I know that listening to music is forbidden in Islam. I reside in a hostel with 3 room-mates. Sometimes, they play songs, videos on loudspeaker and other students from different rooms also join them. In this case, what should I do? Since we live in secular country, I can't tell them to stop as everyone is free to do anything one desires

Q: I was married on 2013 October. Shortly afterwards, I developed an ulcer which my in-laws took to be cancer. Even while I was in hospital, they started to threaten me and asked for divorce. They threatened to implicate me in a dowry case, make everyone go to jail and get all our property to be sold. After a lot of requests, they met my surgeon who had done that surgery. When they found out after meeting him that I honestly did not have cancer and I was telling the truth, they agreed to continue the marriage relationship depending on some conditions. They gave us 15 days time. An agreement had been reached between us. We were ready to meet every condition. But two days later, they called me to say that they will terminate the relationship as they had found another groom, who happened to be my wife’s ex-boyfriend. After that, they came and intimidated me when I was alone in the house. Everyone in my family had gone to the hospital as my brother-in-law was sick. They surrounded me on all sides and threatened me and frightened me into signing on a piece of paper. While I did sign on the paper, I did not say anything aloud. I was seriously ill and in bed-rest. I was alone in the house while they had several goons. As a result, I could not fight and had to sign out of fright. I would have been implicated in a dowry case if I hadn’t signed and would have been humiliated. I would have been physically harmed. I was being threatened with the Dowry Case, selling of the house and physical harm. That is why I signed on that paper. (1) Am I divorced now as I have signed on that piece of paper? (2) I had not enunciated any word orally. I only signed on that paper on which “Triple Talaq” was written in order to save myself. (3) My intention was not to go for divorce. Please give me answer in Quran and Saheeh hadith. Kya maira talaq hu ya nahi?
