Q: When you go for umrah do you read your sunnah Salaahs in the haraam?
Q: From about many years, I feel that somebody sits on me when I suddenly get awaken from my sleep. At that time, I use to be awake but suddenly my eyes get closed under pressure and my mouth gets closed. I try to shout but can't. I also feel somebody is walking in my room and from about a year I even hear some words which that person makes in my ear during that time which I don't understand. As a result of this, my heart has become very weak though I offer prayers five times a day and also recite ayat ul qursi and four quls (surah kafiroon, surah iklas. surah falaq. surah nas) but still undergo this. Same was happening with my father who passed away last year. Same also happens with my sister and mother but rarely. I even hear knocking sounds on door during this. Please tell me something about this.
Q: I want to ask that earning from an intercede job is halaal or haram? I mean one was not fully qualified for a job I mean government is equipping clerks in schools. The criteria is a good typist and they prefer to inter pass student. While one can type but not according to demand and is metric pass and doing his intern. So he applies for that job and and a famous man intercedes on his behalf and he gets selected so earning from that job will be halaal or haram?
Q: In our local shopping centre there is a small prayer room. Three of us entered to pray zuhr salah and decided to pray in jammat. I was chosen to lead the prayer. We finished salah and went our separate ways. My question is this, after salah and returning home I kept feeling I prayed only 3 rakaats. I just couldn't get this feeling out of my mind. When we finished the other two never mentioned I only completed 3 rakat, so to tell you the truth I do not know whether I completed 3 or 4 rakaats. What must I do or should have done?

Q: The following two errors were made by me unintentionally whilst in Ihraam.
1) When I put on the Ihraam I forgot to remove my underpants. I realised this after about 20 minutes. I removed it immediately thereafter.
2) After coming out of the toilet, I washed my hands using soap unintentionally. Please advise what compensation is due from me, and please advise whether the compensation must be paid/done in Makkah or if it can be done here.
Q: Does smelling/inhaling Food/odor/smoke break one's fast?
1. Does smelling food break fasting? Accidently remembering I am fasting (and not remembering I am fasting)
2. Deliberately remembering I am fasting (and not remembering I am fasting)
3. Does smelling odor (perfume, smell of someone’s body –like baby or even to check if someone’s sweat or not, odor of shampoo, creams, green tea, coffee etc, cigarette smoke (or any kind of smoke?) any kind of odor) break fasting accidently or deliberately?
4. My manager has a special perfume in his room for having good odor. I have to be there while a cleaning lady cleans the room. Does it break my fast if I have to be there or enter the room during a day?
5. If my family uses perfume and all room smells, do I have to leave the room or can stay, sometimes i sleep after work and they use perfume and all room smells, do i have to leave the room in the middle of a nap? The same about cooking food, do I have to leave the kitchen or a room where smells come to?
6. Sometimes in the middle of a sweet nap I feel cigarette smoke in our room that is coming from a café below our apartment, do I have to wake up and leave the room in this case?

7. Is there something else close to topic ‘’food, odor, smoke’’ that breaks ones fast?
Q: I have some questions about fasting. Could you please answer them when you have time Insha Allah?
1. During Ramadan, is it enough to make intention to fast for the whole month or it must be done for every day?
2. If it must be done for each day, when must be the intention done? Please don’t use difficult words that I won’t understand, could you please say from magrib till fajr, etc, as I find it difficult to understand the explanation other alims gave on some sites I read. Could you please give time frame for intentions for Ramadan, for kazas of Ramadan, for fasting 3 days of breaking an oath and for nafila fasting every Monday, Thursday and 13, 14, 15 of each month – is the time frame of intentions the same for all these fastings?
3. What if one forgot to make intention during the prescribed time, what must he do, fast anyway and then make kaza, kafara etc?
4. What if one is fasting his Ramadan kazas after the next Ramadan is finished only, what is the time frame for the intentions then, the same as normal Ramadan kazas?
5. What if I fasted one (or more) day and then realized my ghusl (I speak only of ghusl after menstruation, not after wet dream, etc) wasn’t correct, is my fast still valid in shaa Allah?
6. If I miscounted end of my period and made ghusl too early, but started fasting after day 10 of period (as max can be 10 days) is my fast still valid or not in shaa Allah?
7. if it is not allowed to insert cotton balls inside during fast when I have discharges, does it mean I have to be checking with a mirror every time if they are there and find that moment when they stop for a while or the best would be just make salah close to the end of its time even if then discharges are flowing?
