Q:

1) In salaah, if you move your head in any direction (right, left, up, down, back or forth), does this nullify the salaah?

2) Moving your chest in salaat in a direction away from the qiblah, does this nullify salaah?

3) If your pants has a small hole and your skin is visible through the hole, performing salaah in this state, will your salaah be valid?

4) If the underneath of a shoe touches the top of your feet, do you have to wash that part of your feet before performing salaah?

Q: Zaid (imam of his community) generally receives zakaat in Ramadaan from his community members to distribute to the poor. Can Zaid use his personal funds before Ramadaan to assist with zakaat cases with the intention of repaying himself from the zakaat funds he will receive in Ramadaan?

Q: A property had been made waqf with the intention that the income be utilised for various charity purposes. Presently there is a dire need for a at least a Musallah where the local Muslim brothers can offer daily 5 salaahs. The waaqif is willing to make a supplementary Deed to incorporate the establishment of a Musallah on the empty terrace of the building he had donated. Is this ok and can one perform Jummah salaah and also tarawih and Eid salaah in addition to the daily 5 times salaah in such a place?

Q: I felt like a drop of urine came out. I sat on the chair then I went and changed my clothes. I forgot about the chair. I realised after a few days I was sitting there I took out the seat and washed it. People have sat on the chair and touched the spot and touched other places. I don't know if hands were wet or if impurity was on the chair or has spread. Is the whole chair impure as it is covered in cloth material. How can I make it pure. I'm feeling very distressed.

Q: I have a question on sexual relations between husband and wife. During the time of having sex as a part of foreplay can the husband suck the navel of his wife and also insert his finger, tongue, private part into the navel hole of his wife?

Q: I am in a confused situation. I am getting married this August Insha Allah. I am a Sunni and my would be is a mujahid. In my nikaah I want dua to be done after the nikaah ceremony and he is against it saying Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) never did it. Sheikh if you do dua is it a mistake? Will it be a mistake if older people in my family along with him do dua after the nikaah?

Q: My question is about Durood-e-ebraheem. The Quran states in Surah Ahzab (33) Verse 56 صلّوا عليه وسلِّموا, but Durood-e-ebraheem only contains the صلّوا part and not the سلِّموا part. Instead it says اللهم بارك. Can you shed some light on this matter?

Q: I pray 5 times a day. I Believe in Allah and everything he has provided me is the best. I try my best to follow the guidance given by the prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). But the problem is that people, they degrade me, others try to outsmart me in the office, they sometimes bully me. Maybe that is why I haven’t achieved much in my profession. Maybe I’m not that smart but still, but lately it is been distracting me a lot from everything. I started to question my faith. Did I do something that Allah is punishing me? I’m so confused that I don’t know what to do. I tell myself everyday that this will end too. But now I’m not strong enough and maybe I don’t have what it takes to be like other people. I know that you received these kinds of mails every other day. I’m worried about, that how will it change me or take me far away from my Islam. Or maybe I have to spend my whole life like this. I know life is a test and Allah Ta'ala tests those who he wants to bring close to him. But I can’t take handle it anymore. Every second cannot be a test or I have so many sins that I have to live like this.

Q: I'm trying to reform and i'm sinning to the point where I get out of the fold of Islam due to the whispers of Shaitaan and his mind warping ability. When I redo the Shahada, I start seeing things within my mind and start focusing on them due my psychosis and Shaitaan. Does my Shahada still become come valid. It's very difficult to have the meaning in my mind properly while I read it. What should I do?

Q: After touching my wife's private part I touched my phone and headphones. I wiped my phone later but not the headphones. I have used the headphones a lot of times and also touched places. Has the whole house become impure. I have touched the headphones with dry hands mostly.
