Q: My question is that some of my relatives live in UK where they work in different sections such as the sale and making of Alcohol. They send their
income to Pakistan. That money they use for their house hold usage. Now they are getting their daughter married and when we go to meet her, we are invited for dinner. The problem is that is their income is halaal and we can eat food or other things from their home or not? Is it halaal for us, because we know about their income is from haram sources. In uk it is halal but in Pakistan it is Haraam?

Q: A certain persons granny is non muslim and is on her death bed. She would like to know:

1. Can she and her family attend the funreal / service if it is held at a church?
2. Can they attend the function held after the burial which would be at a church? (From what I understand it is a meal with the family)
3. Can her mum accept and use inheritance from her non muslim mum?
4. Also a muslim sister says that she has reseacrhed that niqaab is not fardh for hanafis. Could I please have some information proving that it is fardh?

Q: I have been teaching in a maktab for a few years اَلْحَمْدُالَّله. However I have been late a couple a times over the years. I didn't keep record of the times I was late. I feel guilty for this khiyanat I have made. I tried to estimate the time and I calculated an approximate amount. I now want to pay back the jamaat. The issue is the jamaat doesn't want to take back the amount saying that coming late occasionally can be overlooked. I am in the employ of the jamaat and sometimes if there is a ghusal of mayyit to be done during madrassa hours I do the ghusal. Mufti Saheb do I subtract that time from madrassa time too? What would be the ruling in my case.

Q: I have been for Hajj already but the person I am taking has not, but my dad asked me to instead use that money for an additional extension to his
house. What do I do? My dad has been for hajj as well.

Q: We have recently found out that medical aid and insurance are not permissible and cancelled ours. We have recently opened a tyre fitment centre. The department of labour have requested us to enter our staff on the system, we did plan on doing so however found out now that they have to have an insurance as their job here entails a risk so if we put them on the system they will be insured and if we don't we could be in trouble with the department of labour.

Q: I am a software engineer, my core competency is to develop & support software. Now I work for a software company which has projects only from one insurance company. So our company is responsible to make sure all IT related infrastructure is up & running all the time for this insurance company. And my job is to support the software application which the insurance company is using, so if the application has any issues or users of the application need any data/reports/help, I need to help them and make sure they don’t face any issues. Mostly I will be sitting in my company and supporting these applications. So I am not directly working for the insurance company. So my question is if it is permissible to work for this software company?
