Hadith Query

Q: Is the following Hadith saheeh? The prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said "I have no connection with one who shaves (His Beard), shouts and tears his clothing eg. in grief or affication." - Reported by Abu Darda (R.A) (Saheeh Muslim)

Paying attention towards one's children

Q: I would like my husband to pay more attention to his kids than his nieces. He treats them better than his own kids and I feel as if we cannot do anything as a family as they are with us every where. Sometimes I would like to do things as a family but this hardly ever happens.
Their parents hardly bother with our kids so it upsets me when my husband treats their daughters as our own, but he does not see this and wants them including in every aspect of our life. Many times he has left our kids at home and taken their daughters instead which really annoys me. Please is there any dua I can read which will make him pay attention to his kids and distance himself from nieces. I do not mean this in a horrible way but I would like us to do things as a family for once.

Is Salaah a requirement for Tawbah

Q: If you want to repent for major sins you, do you need to pray salaah to get your repentance accepted or without salaah you repentance will get accepted? For example I want to repent for lying and drinking alcohol, do I need to pray salaah in order for my repentance to get accepted. Does repentance on it's own get accepted?

Announcing nikaah on facebook

Q: My question is I recently had my ketb ktab my families and my wifes family were present. It was recorded and placed on Facebook for all to know.  Does this count as a valid announcement? We are still planning on having a wedding celebration in a few months. But I am told I can't sleep with my wife unless I have a proper public announcement. Please clarify or confirm that the facebook announcment and my families and my wife and I telling others about our marriage is valid enough?

Dreaming of Jinns

Q: I am of 20 years age. My question is that its been a lot of times that I see dreams where Jinns are after me. At times it is like it is coming to me through any of my relative as in my relative has been possessed by a jinn and now they are trying to attack me, sometimes they are successful and I am also possessed. I see these dreams even after reciting all kalimats before sleeping and mostly after fajar prayer. Today morning also I saw that a relative who is possessed has transferred his jinn into me and then the Alim has taken me out of the spell. But in real life these relatives are my well wishers. Why is it that I frequently see such dreams? I have but in the past been a victim of jinn though. Please help.

Dressing immodestly in front of one's in-laws

Q: I am a married female living with my in-laws i.e. father in-law, mother in-law and my husband’s sister. My husband says I can only cover between my navel and knees in front of them because they are unmarriageable to me and there is no sign of lust or fitna. He says I can roam in home like this If my husband has no problem with my being topless in home and only cover between navel and knees and abdomen and back of abdomen. I also belive that there is no possibility of fitna because two are muslim women in the house and my father in law is my father in law. My husband also say’s that they can also touch those parts if needed as they are unlawful to marry and if there is no lust. Please tell me as soon as possible that is it sinful or not to only cover those parts between navel and knee and going topless with bare breasts. I know being modest is good but what in this case when my husband has no problem and says I can? And I am asking only in front of muslim women and mehrem men. Please don’t tell about non-mehrem men I know that.
