Q: My father had died about 20 years ago. My sister has died recently. I am her only blood brother. Me and my sister shared same parents. My mother is still alive (Masha Allah). My mother re-married after my father's death and she has a son. I wanted to ask how my sisters wealth is to be distributed as I am incharge of it. In short, my sister died and has left behind:

1. A full brother.

2. A mother who has done second marriage.

3. A step brother (same mother different father).

Is my mother and step brother entitled to any of the property that my sister got from our father?

Q: During nikaah, if the ijaab and qubool are said in a language that the groom understands, but the bride and her wali/representative do not, is the nikah valid so long as the proper words of ijaab and qubool are said?

Q: Recently a member of my family created a group called Quraan daily. In the group, a person would take a parah and read it. By doing this we would finish a khatm. Not as in a valid khatm but a Quraan finished by everyone that participated. I want to know if this is allowed in the Quraan or sunnah or if it goes against the shariah?

Q: One mother has two daughters. The mother always likes the elder daughter. The mother always uses some bad words and scolds the younger daughter. If the mother scolds the daughter like this, will the daughters life be spoiled? How will the scolding of a mother affect her daughters life even though the daughter did not make any mistake.

Q: If someone feels pain in his back and said O Allah! Why did it happen today. It would have come tomorrow. This statement is according to shariya or not and who speaks it will remain a muslim or not and his nikah will be considered valid?

Q: Is it permissible to give away your child,s clothes or other things that were bought with the intention of it being for that child or bought with money gifted to the child? As I had learnt that you can't give it away unless you seek permission from the child once his of age of you replace it with monetary value.

Q: I suffer with continuous slightly coloured discharge but it is not a large amount. I make fresh wudhu for every salaah as my discharge is ongoing. I sometimes due to circumstances am unable to make fresh wudhu and require to keep wudhu (i.e. due to travel or due to work etc). Please let me know if one can use a Tampon to keep wudhu across 2 salaah times, if the tampon remains dry on the bottom end and no discharge exists the outer area onto to under garments?

Q: Under the following circumstances, is it ja'iz for me to use condoms to avoid pregnancy? For the past several years, my wife has been bedridden due to an incurable disease. About a year ago, I did a second marriage so that my second wife could take care of the house and myself. She is about 42 years old while I am 51 years of age. Recently, my second wife was diagnosed with diabetes. About a month ago, she underwent a minor surgery that required general anesthesia to be given to her. The surgery had to be delayed twice as her sugar level was not coming down and anesthesia could not be given. Finally, the doctors had to use some other method rather than anesthesia to do the surgery. I have been suffering from osteoporosis. In addition, over the past couple of years, have been losing weight. Doctors haven’t been able to diagnose the reason of weight loss and investigations are going on. Because of my and my second wife’s health issues I use condoms to avoid her becoming pregnant against her will. She wants to have at least one child.

Q: Does eating camel meat break wudhu?
