Q: I have a family wedding where I know there will be a mixed gathering and music. I spoke to the family member and asked to be excused from the wedding but in return she said she will be upset and will never forget I did not attend her daughters wedding and cannot excuse me from attending. I explained the only reason for not attending is due to fear of sin and to abide by what Allah Ta'ala has commanded. From our conversation I believe she will no longer have anything to do with me if I do not attend. This situation is causing me great anxiety. On one hand I do not want Allah Ta'ala to be displeased with me and on the other I do not want the family member to break ties either, what do I do? 

Q: If I experience pre-seminal leakage that is apparent in every salah time am I excused or not? I cannot feel it come out but I know it will be there in every salah time although it isn't constantly flowing. It causes me great difficulty having to check everytime if something has come out... because I may be reading salah or Quran and fear that my wudu has broken but I wouldn't even feel it. If someone were excused do they need to wash the private area everytime and does the cloth covering the private part need to be changed everytime?

Q: My father is 74 and is remarrying after my mother's death. He didn't inform me about the marriage and cut all ties with me. Is it allowed in Islam to cut ties with one's son?

Q: What is the Shari ruling regarding a person who has the means to perform hajj but delays it due to the reason that unless his parents perform hajj first he will not do it before them out of regard for his parents.

Q: What is the status of abstaining from clipping the nails and trimming the hair during the first ten days of Zul Hijjah for the person wishing to make Qurbaani? In regard to this mas'alah, what is the preferred opinion in the Hanafi Mazhab?

Q: My husband did hajj last year. I am pregnant and I have 2 little children. His parents who are fit and fine are going for hajj this year with his friends and family who said to take care of them. But in india no 1 is ready to take care of me and my children as the doctor suggested that I should rest. He is taking a business visa and going for hajj. Is it permissible?

Q: My sister said 'mujhe ganda parda nahi karna'. She probably thinks that parda is not a part of Islam. Is this kufr and does she need to say her shahadah again.

Q: I belong to a south Asian country, where people speak English with a different accent. I don't like it, I prefer to speak English in a more american accent. Would that fit into the category of imitating the disbelievers.

Q: I want to ask about that while I was talking with my wife (a general conversation) that my family never ever said talaq talaq talaq word. I want to ask that by hearing these words in general conversation does our nikkah ends? Only by hearing. I haven't said any thing intentionally or in anger mood. She just hear that words not directly either
